Another glorious sunday for SRAM XX riders at the second stop of the MTB World Cup in Houffalize, Belgium, on sunday may 2nd.
Multivan – Merida’s Jose Hermida took his first win of the season and powered to the top of the World Cup ranking. Behind him a very happy Manuel Fumic of Cannondale Factory Racing, who seemed fit for the win. In an all-new podium sweep for XX third place went to Wolfgang Kusrchat of Team Topeak-Ergon, followed by Jaroslav Kulhavy (Ruben-Birell-Specialized) and Ralph Naef (Multivan Merida).
Willow Koerber (Subaru – Gary Fisher) rode strong in the women’s race finishing seconding but now leading in the overall World Cup ranking, great job!
Next race will be in Offenburg, Germany, on may 23rd!
